When I was in Tokyo, in February 1999, for my first time, I was very amazed by the little space between the buildings, by this gap, by this space/not space that we interpreted near the concept of "Ma" (empty). This little space between two buildings was very interesting to understand better the japanis culture, city and relationships. In my photos I would like that the front of the buildings became like collection of covering, collection of colors and dark, solid and stout materials.
